We coordinate trans-shipment of goods to neighbouring landlocked countries, including Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, Northern Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Sudan.
Our aim is to provide standard services across East Africa, including long distances and difficult terrain, using rail and road options to maintain schedules and support bulk and containerised commodity relocation.
Transport options
- Full-load and part-load shipments.
- Road transport, rail transport or a combination of both.
- Door-to-door and coast-to-coast arrangements where available.
- Coordination using suitable vehicles such as large trucks, flat-bed trailers, closed-body trailers and low loaders, subject to route and cargo requirements.
Combining rail transport economics with road handling can support door-to-door service and cost savings. The appropriate route and equipment depend on cargo, border procedures, permits, road conditions and current carrier availability.
